Kane County Building Inspector
The purpose of this department is to regulate buildings and structures in order to safeguard the public health, safety and general welfare through structural strength, means of egress facilities, stability, sanitation, adequate light and ventilation, and energy conservation. Providng safety to life and property from fire and other hazards attributed to the built environment of a building or a structure and to provide safety to fire fighters and emergency responders during emergency operations.

Utah Chapter of I.C.C. Mission Statement
The Utah Chapter of the International Conference of Building Officials is dedicated to promote public safety by providing education, training and support to its members.
The conference will work hand in hand with industry and the public for the enchancement of professionalism and uniformity in code enforcement and administration, to improve the safety of building construction in the State of Utah.
